my parents are sending me to Europe for the summer (btw which i could care less for). I mean call me an ungrateful bastard but they told me it was a money issue with SVA, so they gonna thousands of dollars for me to go to europe?

RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But seriously its a definite that im going to hartford now, and even though my parents told me it was my choice for school all along i feel they just guided me the way they wanted.

I feel like this is gona be one of those things that i will regret until the day i die, it just doesn't feel right. I think they just want me to be at a safer school then something in the city, after my interview at SVA they seemed to be a little too quiet compared to schools like hartford where they were extremely talkative. My grandma also told me that my mom saw a poster of some sort (guy naked holding his crotch, advertising safe sex) by SVA and said that she didnt like it, and that she didn't like some of the kids. I feel i need to confront them on this because they infiltrated my mind with thoughts of why SVA would be useless to go to any way, when all i hear about is how good of an art school SVA is.

So the advice i need is, is really a big difference in art from SVA to hartford and will it effect me drastically, if so do i confront my parents?

Sorry for the life journal but this has been bothering me alot, and would appreciate the comments from you guys. (espically since some of u are going to SVA)
